Gameweek 32 is approaching, and we are nearing the end of the season, making those captaincy selections a little more important. We hope you all had a successful gameweek, let’s have a quick look back to see how last week’s picks did:
1. Harry Kane – 2 points
2. Eden Hazard – 13 points
3. Charlie Austin – 21 points
Gamble – Sergio Aguero – 2 points
Differential – Christian Benteke – 23 points
Last week’s picks didn’t do too bad, now let’s crack on with this week’s captaincy selections:
1. Harry Kane (AVL)
No surprises why Kane is the primary choice this week and although he blanked last week, he has never blanked more than two weeks in a row since December! Spurs are at home this week, so can Kane continue his record and bag one this week?!
2. Eden Hazard (QPR)
Hazard is in fantastic form at the moment and no team in the league looks like they can stop the Belgian midfielder! With 22 points in two weeks, can Eden Hazard continue his run and bag one against QPR?
3. Olivier Giroud (BUR)
With a goal in his last seven games, Giroud is in absolutely fantastic form. With 7 goals in 6 games and 51 points to show for it, he should be on your mind for captaincy! Question is, can his good form continue? We think it will and what a better opponent to continue this form against, as this week they take on Burnley!
Gamble – Wayne Rooney (MCI)
When started up-front, Rooney is deadly and clinical in the box! Ever since van Gaal changed his position back to striker, he’s been banging them in, however this is a bit of a gamble as they take on Manchester City this week. City’s defence is in poor form and Rooney does love a goal against their main rivals! We can’t see many gambling with Rooney for the captaincy, but he who dares…
Differential – Christian Benteke (TOT)
Benteke is starting to get into the ruthless form he was a few years ago, when he banged a few in every week! Just scored a hat-trick, can he continue this run? It’s a massive differential, but if he does well, you’ll be sure to climb high in the rankings!
