FPL S**THOUSE XI – Gameweek 14 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

FINALLY, I beat the newbie by a massive 2 points and the gap is closing up! This could be the start of the comeback right!?

Overall ranks for the two teams are:

4,776,729 – @FPL_vs
5,017,626 – @FPL_Junior

Let’s look at Junior’s team from gameweek 13 first.

Goalkeeper

Fabianski (9) – A disappointing 0-0 as the Pole earns max bonus.

Defence

Simpson (2) – Conceding to West Ham shows why he’s been in the team from the start.
Zanka (2) – Always. Captain. Against. Manchester. City.
Cedric (2) – He’s been thoroughly impressive over his 2 week spell.
Lowe (1) – On-off the bench and hasn’t started in 3, he’s heading for the door.
Dunk (0) – Dunkin’ doughnuts on his debut with a nice own goal.

Midfielders

Barry (1) – Gareth earns a single after he picks up his second yellow card of the season.
Gueye (2) – Still yet to earn an attacking return this season!
Cork (2) – Back down to reality after last week’s heroics.

Forwards

Barnes (2) – Unable to breach Petr Cech.
Rodriguez (2) – Even the new manager can’t get him scoring goals.

Bench – 8 points on the bench this week. Gray grabs a goal as I kept him firmly at sub 3. Hennessey gets back into the team and blanks, as I get the keeper choice wrong. Romeu warms the bench after suspension and he’ll come straight back in. Krychowiak is dropped by his new manager.

Now onto this week’s team:

Transfer – Lowe says goodbye after he is no longer nailed. In comes the yellow card magnet, Pablo Zabaleta.

Captain – Cedric Soares takes the armband as he faces the league leaders, Man City.

Onto my team now:

Goalkeeper

Foster (2) – Showed some character under Megson and has some decent fixtures coming up.

Defence

Tarkowski (2) – Last minute goal from Sanchez broke a lot of FPL managers hearts. Not mine, Tarkowski was on for 9!
Dunk (0) – Slam Dunk! Own goal.
Cook (7) – This guy is testing my patience. Another clean sheet and has some great games coming up. He has to go.
Gibbs (1) – Double WBA worked out well but it’s a risky game.
Zouma (1) – Stoke are truly terrible. Captain candidate this week!

Midfielders

Barry (1) – New boy comes in for a point!
Cork (2) – Jack Cork brings another 2 pointer home.
Captain Gueye (4) – Mr Consistent with another steady captain’s score.

Forwards

Ayew (2) – Swansea should have had a goal but thankfully, Ayew was nowhere near.
Perez (1) – Newcastle have some tough games coming up so this guy is here to stay.

Bench (0) – Perfect.

Now onto this week’s team:

Transfer – Butland OUT, Gomes IN.

Captain – Hayden comes in for a shot at the armband.

Good luck and save those reds for us!
