Gameweek 28 FPL Preview – Fantasy Premier League Tips

After an eventful & high scoring gameweek 27, a set of FA cup fixtures and a busy European midweek, the Premier League is back with an amazing set of fixtures which are certainly going to be a treat for the eyes.

Good luck and may your arrows be green!

Leicester vs Stoke

Leicester City will be looking to finish as high as possible this season and will look to pick up some good results after only 2 from their last 10. Stoke on the other hand are in the drop zone and have not played well at all this season considering their squad quality. The individuals will have to stand up for the Potters if they are to stay in the Premier League this season.

STAR MAN: Jamie Vardy (8.6m)

With a goal in each of his last four games, he will be looking to extend his scoring streak.

PREDICTION: Leicester 3-1 Stoke

Bournemouth vs Newcastle

The Cherries are five points from the drop zone and will be looking for the three points in this fixture to steer them closer to that 40 point mark. Newcastle on the other hand are just 2 points off the relegation zone and a win could lift them level on points with the Cherries. A crucial game for both teams but the home side certainly has the advantage here.

STAR MAN: Callum Wilson (6.0m)

Should’ve scored in his previous game and will surely look to score this time around to ensure his team’s victory.

PREDICTION: Bournemouth 2-0 Newcastle

Brighton vs Swansea

Brighton have been very good on the eye this season and did manage to carry some of their form from last season into the Premier League. However, they are still at least 3 wins from safety and the manager will be looking to take full advantage of these home fixtures against their relegation rivals. They are up against a resurgent Swansea side who can be very unpredictable.

STAR MAN: Pascal Gross (5.9m)

The creator in chief for his team will have to step up again.

PREDICTION: Brighton 1-0 Swansea

Burnley vs Southampton

Burnley are flying high in seventh place and will be on track to finish in their record highest position in the Premier League. It certainly has been an amazing season for the Clarets. The saints on the other hand will be disappointed as they now find themselves in unwanted territory.

STAR MAN: Nick Pope (4.9m)

Certainly will be a cagey game and expect the goalkeeper to be the hero for this one.

PREDICTION: Burnley 0-0 Southampton

Liverpool vs West Ham

The Reds are on fire and there doesn’t seem like any team that can stop their attacking trio from scoring. West Ham away at Anfield will find it very difficult to contain the Reds and this certainly seems like a one sided game on paper.

STAR MAN: Mohamed Salah (10.4m)

I don’t think you need to look anywhere else to decide who your captain is gonna be.

PREDICTION: Liverpool 3-0 West Ham

West Brom vs Huddersfield

This week, Pardew and his boys are up against the Terriers who aren’t having a particularly great season, as they sit just just 1 point above the relegation scrap. The Baggies themselves are no different as they languish at rock bottom of the league table with relegation looking more and more likely, but if the Baggies are to enjoy top flight football next season, the surge for survival has to start here.

STAR MAN: Chris Brunt (5.0m)

He will need to step up in the coming weeks, if the Baggies are to stay up.

PREDICTION: West Brom 1-0 Huddersfield

Watford vs Everton

The Toffees haven’t had the best of seasons after spending more than a 100 million over the summer on transfers, yet they still find themselves placed 9th. Watford on the other hand have been doing good considering the number of injuries they’ve had this season and will be looking to finish inside the top 10.

STAR MAN: Gylfi Sigurdsson (8.0m)

It’s about time this man guided his team to a European spot finish.

PREDICTION: Watford 1-2 Everton

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham

Spurs are flying high in the league after some promising results of late, as they look to secure a Champions League spot for next season. Pochettino and his boys travel to Selhurst Park after a gutsy performance against Juve and a draw in the cup. An easy Spurs win seems to be on the cards.

STAR MAN: Harry Kane (12.8m)

Captain dependable!

PREDICTION: Crystal Palace 1-3 Tottenham

Manchester United vs Chelsea

Super Sunday couldn’t get any better with two giants of the league going head to head at Old Trafford. Chelsea certainly haven’t been as good as last year whereas the Red Devils have been near perfect apart from that setback against Newcastle. Both teams will be going all guns blazing in order to get the three points.

STAR MAN: Alexis Sanchez (11.8m)

You can always count on the little Chilean to deliver.

PREDICTION: Manchester United 1-0 Chelsea

Arsenal vs Manchester City

Manchester City have almost wrapped up the title race by the look of things and there seems to be no one who is even close to stopping them. However, this fixture might be a test for the City defence as they face a Gunners side who are determined to perform. With the noticeable additions of Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang, anything seems possible.

STAR MAN: Sergio Aguero (12.0m)

8 goals in the last 4 games. He is indeed on fire.

PREDICTION: Arsenal 2-2 Manchester City
