Gameweek 31 FPL Preview – Fantasy Premier League Tips

After the much more action packed gameweek 30, we have the dreaded blank GW31 for most teams this weekend, with just four games being played. If you’ve left it until now to start thinking about this gameweek, you’re probably already in deep trouble.

Good luck fielding an 11 this week! Here’s the fixtures that are going ahead.

Bournemouth vs West Brom

The Baggies have been nothing but miserable in each and every game they’ve played of late. It all comes down to how many goals the free flowing Cherries can put past the fragile Baggies back line. An easy home win seems to be on cards.

STAR MAN: Callum Wilson (5.9m)

Will he ever deliver again…!? Many FPL managers will be holding out hope!

PREDICTION: Bournemouth 3-0 West Brom

Huddersfield vs Crystal Palace

Both the Seagulls and Eagles come into this fixture having won just 2 of their last 11 league games & are in desperate need of reaching that 40 point mark sooner rather than later. This tie is one that definitely seems to be another one of those fixtures where you feel that the teams are quite evenly matched and the one who plays better (or who needs it the most) on the day will be taking the points.

STAR MAN: Christian Benteke (7.6m)

The big Belgian has blanked just twice in the last 9 league games. Certainly one to watch out for at 3.1% ownership.

PREDICTION: Huddersfield 1-1 Crystal Palace

Stoke vs Everton

Stoke are on the back of another defeat at home, this time to the league leaders Manchester City, and have now gone six games without a victory. Everton on the other hand have also won just two of their last five games but looked good last time around at home. Should make for a great game with Stoke fighting for survival.

STAR MAN: Xherdan Shaqiri (6.3m)

He could be that difference in midfield for the Potters.

PREDICTION: Stoke 2-2 Everton

Liverpool vs Watford

Liverpool were defeated last weekend at Old Trafford and Klopp will be very disappointed with that result. A home game against a Watford side that struggles away from home might just help their cause a bit more. Definitely looks like a Liverpool victory on paper.

STAR MAN: Mohamed Salah (10.6m)

The most valuable player in the league at the moment, after missing out on the scoring last weekend, will be looking to get a couple this time around.

PREDICTION: Liverpool 3-0 Watford
