Gameweek 6 FPL Preview – Fantasy Premier League Tips

After the busy week with European ties followed by GW5 and the league cup fixtures we do expect a lot of rotation to take place within the Premier League squads and here we are to assess as to who will potentially be the key players to watch out for in this particular round of fixtures.

Without further ado, here is our Gameweek 6 FPL Preview…

West Ham vs Tottenham

West Ham have not been the best at home since their move to the London Stadium, but with that said, they have played just one game at home this season, which ended in a win. Spurs on the other hand have a very good away record and will definitely be the stronger of the two teams.

STAR MAN: Dele Alli (9.5m)

The Englishman is known as an impact player for Spurs and will be looking to find the back of the net on this occasion.

PREDICTION: West Ham 0-2 Tottenham

Burnley vs Huddersfield

Burnley currently find themselves placed in 7th, just one spot below their opponents Huddersfield. Both Burnley and Huddersfield have made impressive starts to the campaign, losing just one game so far this season. Unpredictable as to which way this game might go but the Clarets certainly have the home advantage in this one.

STAR MAN: Sam Vokes (6.1m)

Vokes hasn’t scored since gameweek 1, but will be looking to add to his tally this time around.

PREDICTION: Burnley 2-1 Huddersfield

Everton vs Bournemouth

Everton have made a horrific start to the season by their standards and find themselves just two places from the bottom, after losing their last three premier league games. The toffees are up against a team that has been equally poor this season, Bournemouth. Everton certainly have the edge over the Cherries in this one and will be determined to get a result in front of their home crowd.

STAR MAN: Gylfi Sigurdsson (8.3m)

The Icelandic playmaker has had a quiet start in his new team, but will be looking to unleash his talent in this game.

PREDICTION: Everton 3-1 Bournemouth

Manchester City vs Crystal Palace

Manchester City have been in amazing goal scoring form so far this season and have managed to score 16 goals from just five games, of which 11 have come in their last two fixtures. Crystal Palace on the other hand have recently appointed Roy Hodgson as their new manager. He will definitely find it tough against this flawless City side and it should be an easy victory for the Citizens.

STAR MAN: Gabriel Jesus (10.5m)

The strike partnership of Jesus and Aguero has been brilliant so far this season and will no doubt continue to trouble the opposition this gameweek.

PREDICTION: Manchester City 3-0 Crystal Palace

Southampton vs Manchester United

The Saints have not been at their best this season, but with that said, they have lost just one game. Manchester United on the other hand have made a very good start to the season, being undefeated and just twice so far. The Saints may just prove to be tough competition to the Red Devils this gameweek

STAR MAN: Dusan Tadic (6.5m)

Tadic will be crucial for the Saints with his passing, movements and he could create a problem or two for the Red Devils.

PREDICTION: Southampton 2-2 Manchester United

Stoke vs Chelsea

The potters came out second best last gameweek against a strong Newcastle side, but will be looking to bounce back this week. Chelsea on the other hand are going to be playing without David Luiz in defence after his red card in the 0-0 draw against the Gunners, may could be an area that the Potters could exploit.

STAR MAN: Cesc Fabregas (6.9m)

His intricate passing and movements may prove to be too much for the Stoke defence.

PREDICTION: Stoke 1-3 Chelsea

Swansea vs Watford

Swansea have won just one game this season, but have managed to earn a hard fought draw against Tottenham, which would have definitely boosted the morale and confidence within the team. Watford on the other hand have lost just the one game this season and this defeat came at the hands of Man City, where they conceded 6 goals in one game.

STAR MAN: Tammy Abraham (5.5m)

Abraham’s pace and involvement inside the box will certainly cause trouble for the opposition.

PREDICTION: Swansea 1-1 Watford

Leicester vs Liverpool

Leicester City and Liverpool met in this week’s Cup fixture, in a game where the Foxes came out victorious over the Reds. This will certainly prompt a reply from Jurgen Klopp’s men who haven’t had a good couple of weeks. The Foxes will have the home advantage, but the determination to avenge the midweek fixture could be the deciding factor.

STAR MAN: Roberto Firmino (8.7m)

The main striker for Liverpool will have to find the back of the net if the Reds are to be victorious against the Foxes.

PREDICTION: Leicester 1-2 Liverpool

Brighton vs Newcastle

Brighton have managed to win just the one game this season and have not been too impressive with their passing or chance conversion. Newcastle on the other hand find themselves in 4th spot after winning three games on the trot. Newcastle have been playing some impressive football and will surely be tough to beat without the right tactics.

STAR MAN: Jamaal Lascelles (4.6m)

Lascelles has been very good in front of goal with two goals in his last two games, but also has been impressive defensively this season.

PREDICTION: Brighton 0-0 Newcastle

Arsenal vs West Brom

After the defeat to Liverpool, Arsenal have come back strong with a win and a draw, but still find themselves in 12th position. West Brom on the other hand have not won any of their last three games and appear very unpredictable. Therefore, taking a trip to the Emirates and picking up three points may be a bit too much to ask.

STAR MAN: Alexandre Lacazette (10.3m)

Having missed an easy chance at the Bridge last week the Frenchman will be looking to smash in a goal or two to get back into his goal scoring form.

PREDICTION: Arsenal 3-0 West Brom
