Gameweek 13 Differentials – Fantasy Football Tips

This article will look at 5 players selected by under 5% of managers that could be strong differentials for gameweek 13, a one week punt or beyond to push managers up the overall rankings.

Daryl Janmaat (£4.4m) – Watford – 2.0% TSB

Janmaat is owned by just 2.0% of FPL managers despite returning 34 points in the last 5 game weeks including 3 clean sheets an assist. In gameweek 13 Watford host a burnley side who have looked far from their best in recent gameweeks. With Janmaat being very attacking and so kindly priced he could be a very strong differential to have on your bench going into the thick christmas period as they play Burnley Southampton and Crystal Palace in their next 4.

Gylfi Siggurdson (£7.5m) – Everton – 3.2% TSB

Everton face Norwich this gameweek and they have conceded at least 2 goals in 10/12 games so far this seasons and there is no reason why this trend should change. Siggurdson has looked far from his best but coming up against this Norwich defence anyone can see strong returns. Sadly this is the last fixture in Everton’s strong run so it would only be a one week punt here. Richarlison is also another very strong option for Everton and is owned by 7.2% of managers and priced at £7.9m with 24 points in the last 4 gameweeks.

Trezeguet (£5.2m) – Aston Villa – 1.5% TSB

Having scored 15 points in the last 2 game weeks with goals against Wolves and Liverpool, the Villa midfielder is still only owned by 1.5% of FPL managers. In gameweek 13 Villa host an Newcastle side who have kept just 1 clean sheet in the last 7. They have also kept just 1 away from home this season when they beat spurs 1-0. Aston Villa have strong game weeks from 13-21 and only play Manchester United and Chelsea within this period and so combining the form, fixtures and favourable price range Trezeguet is a strong option to both rotate, but also start permanently in your team.

Diego Jota (£6.1m) – Wolves – 3.1% TSB

A lot of FPL managers are looking at wolves and notably Jota’s teammate Jimenez as they seem to have found their form from last year. However, Jota may not have seen attacking returns but from watching games, the “eye test” has shown that Jota has been unfortunate not to get any and has looked really strong in the last few gameweeks. As well as this wolves are entering a strong run of fixtures and so Jota could be a very nice differential going into the christmas period.

Danny Ings (£6.0m) – Southampton – 2.9% TSB

He has scored 4 goals in the last 6 game weeks including goals against spurs and chelsea. In game week 13 southampton travel to Arsenal who may look like a difficult fixture on paper but have been far from their best recently especially in defence. As well as this, after this game Southampton face Watford, Norwich, Newcastle, West Ham and Aston villa in a row during the christmas break. Arsenal have kept just 1 clean sheet since the opening day of the season and have since been chopping and changing their defence which never helps stability.
