This article will highlight 5 differentials (under 5% ownership) across a variety of positions to help push managers up the ranks over the coming gameweeks.
Ainsley Maitland Niles (£4.6m) – Arsenal – 2.7% TSB
Maitland Niles has played every minute since gamewek 16 as he replaced an injured Bellerin in the Arsenal lineup. Arsenal have kept 2 CS since then but in gameweek 23 they host a Sheffield United side who do not tend to score a lot of goals. That said this could be a potentially low scoring game as Arsenal will be forced to be more secure defensively due to their main goal threat in Aubameyang being injured. Arsenal also play Newcastle and Burnley in the next 4 and so there is a potential to hold him further.
Djibril Sidibé (£5.4m) – Everton – 2.3% TSB
In his last 6 starts this season he has scored 35 points averaging just under 6 pointer per gameweek as he has played a mixture of RB, RWB and RM over this time. In gameweek 23 Everton travel to a West Ham side who have looked better but still mixed under new manager Moyes. They still do not seem as free flowing yet and so there is definitely clean sheet potential here. After West Ham, Everton face off against Newcastle, Watford and Crystal Palace and do there is definitely potential to hold Sidibe longer.
Lucas Moura (£7.1m) – Tottenham – 4.9% TSB
Moura has struggled as he hasn’t got an attacking return since gameweek 16+17. However, since Kane got injured, against Liverpool Moura seemed to be played a ST rather than Son which is why he is included here. His form is poor but if played at ST he could be back to the form we saw at the end of last year. Spurs play Watford, Norwich, Man City and Aston Villa in the next 4, teams who are far from solid defensively and so Moura could be a strong pick over this period.
Ismaïla Sarr (£6.2m) – Watford – 1.3% TSB
Sarr has 32 points in the last 5 weeks. Also Doucoure is a 5.6 MID for Watford owned by 1.4% of managers. He seems to be playing attacking midfield now and has 29 points in 3 weeks. Watford play Spurs, Villa, Everton and Brighton in the next 4 and so there is definitely potential for them to keep returning. In the form they are in, fixtures are less of an issue for them. If I had to recommend one to play every week in your team I’d choose Sarr.
Neil Maupay (£5.9m) – Brighton – 2.3% TSB
He has only 1 attacking return in the last 5 after he scored 3 goals in 3 matches. However, these don’t show how involved he has been in what Brighton do attacking wise and so there is high potential for him in terms of points. With this, in gameweek 23 they host Aston Villa who conceded 6 last week and are turning into the whipping team in the league. The fixtures are good for a prolonged period as they play Bournemouth in gameweek 24.
