Gameweek 14 Differentials – Fantasy Football Tips

This article will look at 5 players selected by under 5% of managers that could be strong differentials for gameweek 14 for a one week punt or beyond to push managers up the overall rankings.

Serge Aurier (£4.8m) – Tottenham – 2.6% TSB

Aurier has picked up 19 points in the past 3 weeks including an assist in gameweek 13 in a new look Spurs side. He is starting to look fairly nailed now having started the last 5 games but most importantly being picked in Mourinho’s first team and Mourinho has said that Foyth is preferred at a centre back. Spurs host Bournemouth in gameweek 14 who have looked poor in recent game weeks both in terms of attack and defence. With this there is definitely room for Aurier to get attacking and defensive returns.

Lucas Moura (£7.0m) – Tottenham – 3.8% TSB

The second spurs player in this article and for good reason as they scored 3 against West Ham under a new look Mourinho side. With this new side Mourinho has opted for a more attacking lineup with 2 wingers allowing both Son and Lucas to be included. He returned to the score sheet with his return to the team. He is also the cheapest out of the Spurs attack so could offer great value for money. With Bournemouth next this form could easily continue.

Willian (£7.1m) – Chelsea – 3.0% TSB

There has been a lot of talk this season around Pulisic and Mount, but little attention has been given to Willian. However, he looks like the most nailed on asset within the Chelsea midfield having started every game since gameweek 5. He has returned in 50% of matches since including two double digit returns. In gameweek 14 Chelsea host a West Ham team who have looked far from their good in recent weeks and so there is likely to be plenty of chances for Chelsea. Willian is also on some set pieces increasing his appeal further.

Danny Ings (£6.0m) – Southampton – 3.6% TSB

Ings now has 2 goals in his last 2 games against Arsenal and Everton. Over the coming weeks Southampton have some great looking fixtures which are very important to Southampton’s survival hopes and Ings’s performances will be key to success here. This means that he is a differential for more than just one week, although in gameweek 14 they host a below par Watford side.

Ashley Barnes (£6.3m) – Burnley – 4.2% TSB

Whilst Barnes is owned by 4.2% of managers, Chris Wood (£6.2m) is also only owned by 1.1% of managers, whilst both look like they are returning to form with 4 goals combined in two gameweeks. In gameweek 14 Burnley host Crystal palace who have been far from brilliant this season and Burnley have looked good at home this season. If I had to pick one of these players, I’d go for Barnes due to him being on penalties for Burnley.
