FPL Updates XI – Gameweek 15 – FPL Tips

You know it’s December when matches are coming at you left, right and centre. Gameweek 14 was over in a flash and we’re now heading into gameweek 15. We’ve started the festive period off badly with a hefty red arrow down to 363k. 48(-4) was well below the 51 point average. A VVD brace and TAA 2 assists was probably why.

Defence was a shambles this week with blanks all round. With 2 clean sheets this whole week, the majority of players had to rely on attacking returns. We got none. To rub salt into the wounds Heaton scored an OG from a Rashford shot. Otherwise it was 2s and 1s all round.

Pulisic blanked against West Ham, but he had plenty of opportunities and got into some great positions, so I’m not disappointed. Martial blanked at home to Villa and this United side continues to struggle. New signing Son assisted twice against Bournemouth and I’m very pleased with his signing. KDB matched Son with a 10 pointer. He scored a wonder goal against Newcastle and scooped all 3 bonus points.

Jimenez assisted Wolves’ only goal while Vardy continues his scoring streak. He did fail to pick up any bonus points.

Transfers: McGinn/Martial (OUT) -> Alli/Zaha in (-4)

The midfield exodus continues and refreshed this area of the field massively.

Heaton travels to Chelsea in a game where I’m hoping he racks up saves. Robertson is at home to Everton and with Adrian in goal I’m not confident Liverpool are going to finally keep that clean sheet. Lundstram plays Newcastle and Soyuncu face manager-less Watford. Two games in which I see clean sheets.

Alli and Son head north to Old Trafford and I’m expecting goals as Mourinho returns to Manchester. The Red Devil’s midfield and defence has been atrocious of late. Zaha starts an unbelievable run of games and with the January window not far away, he’ll be turning it up to try impress other clubs. He’s got Bournemouth next. KDB faces Burnley and he’s proving why he’s in my side at the moment. After Burnley he’s got 3 awkward games but returns still look possible. Pulisic plays Villa at home and with the potential absence of Abraham, he may be given a false 9 role to play. Either way I expect him to do well.

Jimenez and Vardy are at home to West Ham and Watford. Both defences are struggling and I’m expecting some nice returns from both.

Captain: Vardy. Form and fixtures. What more needs to be said?
