Gameweek 24 Preview – Fantasy Football Tips

With the next gameweek just around the corner, here’s our preview, star players and predictions for gameweek 24…

Aston Villa vs Watford

Watford have been o a good run of form of late which has caused them to overtake Villa and put them in the relegation zone. This could be a very tight fixture with the victor staying out of the bottom three.

Star Man – Jack Grealish (£6.6m)

If Villa are to come away with the 3 points, they will be looking to their main man to perform.

Prediction: Aston Villa 2-1 Watford

Bournemouth vs Brighton

The battle of the South coast, sees an out of form Bournemouth side host the Seagulls. With the form that Bournemouth are in, surely this is another defeat after 4 on the bounce?

Star Man – Neil Maupay (£5.9m)

7 goals and 2 assists this season, not bad for just £5.9m

Prediction: Bournemouth 0-2 Brighton

Crystal Palace vs Southampton

Palace have snuck into the top half of the table sitting in ninth, unbeaten in their last 5, whilst the Saints are two points behind in 13th. This is likely to be a tight game.

Star Man – Danny Ings (£6.9m)

The Saints’ main source of goals.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-2 Southampton

Everton vs Newcastle

The Toffees host Newcastle this gameweek. Both teams are level on points, split by just goal difference. Everton are in the better of forms, but this will be close.

Star Man – Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£6.0)

9 goals this season, can he make it 10?

Prediction: Everton 2-1 Newcastle

Sheffield United vs Manchester City

The Blades are seventh! That said, they are closer to the relegation zone than they are Manchester City.

Prediction: Sheffield United 1-3 Manchester City

Chelsea vs Arsenal

Arguably the game of the gameweek sees Chelsea host the Gunners. This fixture has created some classics over time, let’s hope for another this week.

Star Man – Tammy Abraham (£7.9m)

If Chelsea are to pick up a win, Abraham will need to perform.

Prediction: Chelsea 1-1 Arsenal

Leicester vs West Ham

Leicester have struggled to pick up 3 points since they faced Liverpool and Manchester City. The Hammers on the other hand have two games this gameweek and could push on away from the relegation zone.

Star Man – Jamie Vardy (£10.1m)

He will want to make amends after missing a penalty.

Prediction: Leicester 3-1 West Ham

Tottenham vs Norwich

Spurs are winless in their last 4 and if this form continues, they will be without European football next season. Norwich on the other hand, sit rock bottom and favourites to be relegated.

With Kane out, someone will need to step up to the plate.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-0 Norwich

Manchester United vs Burnley

United are just about hanging onto fifth, whilst Burnley are coming off the back of an impressive win over Leicester. With all the injuries United have, this could be closer than what it looks like on paper.

United will look to their shot stopper to keep them in games.

Prediction: Manchester United 1-0 Burnley

Wolves vs Liverpool

The first of Liverpool’s two fixtures this gameweek sees the reds travel to play Wolves. Liverpool are in a different class at the moment and this will only end one way.

Star Man – Mohamed Salah (£12.4m)

Always likely to find the back of the net.

Prediction: Wolves 0-2 Liverpool

West Ham vs Liverpool

The double gameweek fixture see’s the Hammers host the league leaders. West Ham haven’t been in the best of form and Liverpool will no doubt brush another team to the side.

Star Man – Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m)

Brilliant going forward, but he also has the opportunity to secure a clean sheet.
