FPL Captaincy Analysis – Gameweek 37 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

With just 2 gameweeks left it is now crucial you make the most of your fantasy selections, and before we look at who you should captain this week, here’s how last week’s FPL Captaincy Analysis did:

1. Mohamed Salah – 3 points
2. Harry Kane – 6 points
3. Gabriel Jesus – 9 points
Gamble – Romeul Lukaku – 2 points
Differential – Wilfried Zaha – 14 points

Now onto this week’s selections…

1. Harry Kane (WBA & NEW)

Plenty of teams will be playing twice this week, which means that there’s double the chance of them getting on the scoresheet. Veteran (ish) FPL players will recall Harry’s absolutely mental week last season in the double gameweek, scoring 4 goals in the one gameweek! Spurs take on West Brom and Newcastle, and while he hasn’t been on the best of form, you can’t bet against him scoring this week! At least one goal looks certain to happen, and who knows, it happened last year, why not happen again?!

2. Gabriel Jesus (HUD & BHA)

City ending their season off with a bang, scoring a whopping 9 goals against Swansea and West Ham. Jesus was only involved in a couple of those goals, however he seemingly is the only one who has a guaranteed chance of starting. Others in the side may be rotated by Pep, and while Aguero is out, Jesus may be able to gain more minutes for City this season, giving him more chances to add to his goal tally! He too also has a double gameweek this week, meaning again that there’s a double chance of him finding the net!

3. Marcus Rashford (BHA & WHU)

Admittedly, this is a big risk, and at the latter stages of the season, risks may not be needed depending on your rank. However, with a double gameweek coming up, and with Lukaku our injured for the week, I think Rashford may be handed a start, but realistically, who else can Mourinho play up-front? It has to be Rashford, surely? With this in mind, two games against Brighton and West Ham just looks too tempting to miss out on!

Differential – Jordan Ayew (BOU & SOU)

At one point, everyone was considering Ayew as a third striker option! He’s fallen out of favour now, however, like with all the other choices, he too has a double gameweek, and with Swansea needing these wins, they’ll be relying on Ayew to produce a bit of magic up there! This is obviously a huge risk, purely because of his ownership and form, but if your rank is *that* low that you need a differential to produce, Ayew may be the man.

Gamble – Mohamed Salah (CHE)

Salah? As a gamble? One of the world’s best is a gamble?! For this week, yes, definitely! He’s the only player on this list who has a single gameweek this week, meaning less chances to score, however as we all know, does Salah even need a double gameweek to produce a good points haul?
