So here we are, the penultimate gameweek of the season which offers a lot of footballing action and enticing fixtures. There are sixteen games to be played this week and managers will surely be looking to use their remaining chips to great effect.

To help you decide on transfers, line-ups and how best to use those remaining chips, here is our double gameweek 37 preview and star men predictions. Good luck & go win those mini leagues!

Brighton vs Manchester United

Double gameweek 37 kicks off on Friday night, with the Red Devils travelling south to lock horns with the Seagulls. The Reds are just 3 points away from cementing their 2nd place league finish & Jose will be looking to reach that mark as soon as possible. A fruitful away day seems likely for the travelling fans.

STAR MAN: Paul Pogba (7.9m)

3 goals & an assist in the last 4 games. He can be the game changer in the absence of Lukaku.

PREDICTION: Brighton 1-2 Manchester United

Stoke vs Crystal Palace

The Eagles have played some very good football over the last couple of weeks, and have had the results to go with it. The Potters on the other hand still sit deep inside the relegation scrap, but haven’t been able to convert those one pointers into 3. This fixture seems to be an open ended one, with both sides having their fair share of chances.

STAR MAN: Wilfried Zaha (7.0m)

He surely looks tempting, having netted 4 & assisted 2 in his last 5 league games.

PREDICTION: Stoke 1-1 Crystal Palace

Bournemouth vs Swansea

The Cherries are not mathematically safe but a win here will do it for them. Swansea however are hovering above the drop zone and are not in good form at all. They don’t seem like getting a point out of this away game either.

STAR MAN: Joshua King (7.0m)

Often the man to score for his team when they need him the most, King must step up here to guarantee them safety.

PREDICTION: Bournemouth 1-0 Swansea

Leicester vs West Ham

This is another fixture where a team is comfortably sitting in mid table and another team still has that relegation scare. However, if we look at the form going into this, West Ham should be able to pull off something and must ensure they win this fixture considering the fact that they face Manchester United next.

STAR MAN: Marko Arnautovic (7.0m)

The big man should be the key to unlock the Foxes defence with his strength and smartness up front.

PREDICTION: Leicester 1-2 West Ham

Watford vs Newcastle

Watford will still consider themselves ‘not safe yet’ as they have 38 points on board with just two fixtures left this season. Newcastle on the other hand are safe having crossed the 40 point mark and will already be planning for next season.

STAR MAN: Andre Gray (6.3m)

Hasn’t performed to expectations just yet but still could be the hero by guaranteeing his team safety with a victory in this game.

PREDICTION: Watford 2-2 Newcastle

West Brom vs Tottenham

The Baggies have surprisingly hit the ground running since the departure of Pardew & have taken points against the likes of Man United & Liverpool. The mighty Spurs on the other hand are also fighting for a direct entry into the UCL group stages. Both these sides still have something to play for this season, but on opposite ends of the table, which will surely bring out the best of both.

STAR MAN: Heung-min Son (8.2m)

His pace & ability to get behind the defence is something that will surely disturb the Baggies defensive line.

PREDICTION: West Brom 2-2 Tottenham

Everton vs Southampton

Everton have shown decent form and will be looking to capitalise on their last two victories by making it three in a row. Southampton on the other hand are now just one point from 17th place and a win here should boost their chances massively. However, considering their away form this season, it seems like it’ll be an up hill task for them to overcome the Toffees.

STAR MAN: Cenk Tosun (6.8m)

Has been amongst the goals ever since his arrival and is always a threat against weak defences.

PREDICTION: Everton 2-1 Southampton

Manchester City vs Huddersfield

The Blues will be going all out in this one, to show the rest of England, why they are better than the rest. We see nothing other than a City win.

STAR MAN: Gabriel Jesus (10.3m)

A sure starter in the absence of the injured Sergio Aguero.

PREDICTION: Manchester City 4-0 Huddersfield

Arsenal vs Burnley

Burnley are having an amazing season as they sit comfortably in 7th place, with 3 points separating them from the Gunners. Arsenal find themselves in a similar situation with their finishing spot practically sealed. Dyche and his boys will be all pumped up to yet again deliver, which could result in them going level on points with Wenger & his boys. Moreover, keeping in mind Arsenal’s ability to falter against smaller sides, it shouldn’t be shocking to see an upset.

STAR MAN: Nick Pope (5.0m)

The young English lad will be called upon time & time again to keep his side in the tie.

PREDICTION: Arsenal 0-1 Burnley

Chelsea vs Liverpool

Super Sunday ends with a very tasty fixture as 2 Premier League giants go head to head. The Reds are in red hot form coming into this game, but the Blues surely can’t lose this one if they are to have a shot at the top 4 spots. This fixture definitely promises action which will definitely be a treat to watch.

STAR MAN: Mohamed Salah (10.6m)

Time to register your name in the history books…!?

PREDICTION: Chelsea 1-2 Liverpool

Swansea vs Southampton

For both sides, this fixture is all it comes down to after the entire season long campaign. Both the Swans & the Saints are separated by just a single point & this fixture could be the decider as to who plays Championship football next season. It’s a do or die situation for both sides & the one thing we should expect from this one is goals.

STAR MAN: Dusan Tadic (6.2m)

The Serbian has hit form when his side needed it the most.

PREDICTION: Swansea 2-3 Southampton

Chelsea vs Huddersfield

Poor Huddersfield are in a torrid run of form, having had just a single win in their last 7 league fixtures & now have a lot to worry about in defence. They also have a horrible run of fixtures to worry about. All we can see is one way traffic in this one.

STAR MAN: Eden Hazard (10.5m)

He can single handedly rip the Terriers apart.

PREDICTION: Chelsea 3-0 Huddersfield

Leicester vs Arsenal

The Foxes have lost their way a bit of late having not won 1 of their last 4 games. Gunners on the other hand will surely be in the mood to give their departing manager a send off that a man of his achievement thoroughly deserves. An away win seems to be on the cards.

STAR MAN: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (10.7m)

6 goals and 3 assists in his first 10 games in England. He is certainly the go-to man.

PREDICTION: Leicester 1-3 Arsenal

Manchester City vs Brighton

The newly crowned champions of England will surely be looking to rotate their side & give their youth a taste of the game at the highest level, but we think that shouldn’t stop the Citizens from bagging the 3 points, and Pep is surely chasing the history books.

STAR MAN: Yaya Toure (6.0m)

Last home game as a Man City player. He will surely have something to say.

PREDICTION: Manchester City 3-1 Brighton

Tottenham vs Newcastle

Newcastle come into this game on the back of two disappointing defeats, with the desire to hit back. Spurs on the contrary are still in the fight for a 3rd place finish & with the home crowd behind them, we can see this ending only one way.

STAR MAN: Harry Kane (13.0m)

He will surely need to go big if he wants to retain that Golden Boot.

PREDICTION: Tottenham 3-0 Newcastle

West Ham vs Manchester United

The Hammers are playing some decent football of late, but haven’t had the results to go with it. On the other hand, the Red Devils have lost just one of their last 8 league fixtures & Jose will surely be looking to extend that statistic, in the final away game of the season.

STAR MAN: Alexis Sanchez (11.5m)

The little Chilean always has an eye for goal.

PREDICTION: West Ham 0-2 Manchester United
