6 A-Side – Liverpool V Newcastle

Liverpool vs Newcastle

The late kick off this week sees Liverpool take on a visiting Newcastle. Old manager Rafa will be back at Anfield but we expect an easy Liverpool win given their scintillating attacking form this season. Therefore, there was no question over who our star man should be, as it is obviously Mo Salah. We couldn’t afford not to have him in the side as he is such an attacking threat. This does unfortunately mean we miss our on Roberto Firmino but we have attacking support in Sadio Mane & Emre Can. Completing our Liverpool selections is Virgil van Dijk and Loris Karius. Yes, a Liverpool clean sheet is perhaps a difficult thing to bank on but we reckon they’ll nab one here against Newcastle. Our only Newcastle selection comes in the form of Chelsea loanee, Kenedy.

6 A-Side – Manchester City V Chelsea

Manchester City V Chelsea

The Sunday late game sees the current champions, Chelsea, take a trip up north to the champions elect, Manchester City. This is a tough one to call and we reckon there is at least a goal for both teams in this. Therefore, we’ve sat firmly on the fence and gone with 3 players from each. Our star man pick this week is Eden Hazard. Was a tough one to choose between him and Kevin De Bruyne but we’ve picked the Belgian on this occasion. To support him, we have gone for the in-form Brazilian, Willian, as well as the set piece maestro, Marcos Alonso. For City, we have gone with Gabriel Jesus as we expect him to get some minutes at the expense of another star man pick, Sergio Aguero. We’ve also gone for Leroy Sane after his blistering display against Arsenal at the Emirates on Thursday night. Finishing off our 6-a-side is Raheem Sterling, who we expect to be back from injury this week given his squad omission midweek. What a 6-a-side team this would be!
