Will Liverpool regret selling Phillipe Coutinho? – Fantasy Premier League Tips

The biggest transfer this winter was Coutinho’s move from Liverpool to the dream club for every football player – FC Barcelona. Did Liverpool made a mistake for letting him go? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure: Coutinho will lead his new club to new victories and trophies.

Philippe Coutinho was born and raised in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. From a young age he showed prodigious talent for sports, and Vasco Da Gama accepted him with open hands. He was included in Vasco’s youth system and that’s where his great sports career started. But, no one could have bet that he will be signed by Inter Milan. In 2008 he was signed by Inter Milan and loaned back to Vasco, where he became a star player.

Many betting sites like Betting Top 10 didn’t predict such outcome, believing that he’s too young and that he will struggle in European football. After Inter Milan, he reached his career peak in Liverpool who bought him for £8.5 million. He had a great time in Liverpool, scoring 54 goals in 202 appearances.

Although the attacking midfielder was loved by the fans and his whole club, he was sold this winter for the incredible amount of €120 million to FC Barcelona. His former teammates from Inter Milan weren’t surprised with the price, stating that Coutinho is a very valuable and useful player. But the question remains, did the Liverpool make the right move by selling him?

As possible replacements we can name few players, but no one can tell for sure who will be standing on Coutinho’s position in the midfield. Suso is one of the possible replacements, also Thomas Lemar’s name has been showing a lot in the press these days.

Liverpool has many options in the horizon to compensate the loss of Coutinho. The January 2018 transfer window closes on Wednesday, January 31st at 11pm and, until then, we can only guess who will replace this fantastic Brazilian star.
