Captaincy Analysis – FPL Gameweek 35 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Before we know it we have a mega double gameweek aheaf of us, but before we consider this week’s captaincy options, here is how last week’s picks did:

1. Heung-Min Son – 4 points
2.
Jamie Vardy – 2 points
3. Raul Jimenez – 2 points
Differential –  Lucas Digne – 1 points
Gamble – Mohamed Salah – 8 points

Now onto this week’s selections:

1. Eden Hazard (BUR)

Despite having a knock after the Europa League game, I’ve still gone for Hazard being the number one option for this week. No double gameweek though, I hear you say. Don’t fall into the trap – he’s got 6 goals and 2 assists in his last 5 home games, and while he may only have one game, he’s still a much better option than others with a double gameweek, and was also unlucky not to get on the scoresheet against Liverpool, despite being one of the best players on the pitch!

2. Heung-Min Son (MCI & BHA)

The most underrated player in the league, and one of the most in the world, returning a goal or an assist every 85 minutes, one of the best in world football. When Kane is injured, this man steps up, and is largely the reason as to why Spurs are currently in the semi finals of the Champions League. Unlike Hazard, he has a DGW, against Man City and Brighton, two teams fighting for two completely different things. He scored a brace against Man City days ago, and playing up front against a team that is in poor form, he surely has to get a huge haul this week! He’s only number two because there’s a small chance he could be rested for one of the games, but last time that happened, he got an assist despite playing 4 minutes!

3. Alexander Lacazette (CRY & WOL)

Another player with a terrific Goals + Assists Ratio is Lacazette – averaging one every 89 minutes. Ignoring the Everton match, he’s been in terrific form, with only one blank since GW22 and also scoring a terrific free kick against Napoli in the midweek. He too has a DGW, but is much more likely to be benched in at least one of the games against Crystal Palace and Wolves, however his brilliant form is too good to ignore!

Differential – Andre Gray (HUD & SOU)

With Deeney suspended for both DGW games, and with Deulofeu a doubt for the games due to an ankle injury, it’s definitely down to Gray to try and get Watford to 7th place! He’s only owned by 2% which has to be People rage transferring Deeney after he well and truly messed up their plans after getting sent off against Arsenal. Watford actually have the best games in the DGW, playing Huddersfield and Southampton, and if Gray starts both games, he could prove to be a terrific option for captaincy.

Gamble – Raheem Sterling (TOT & MUN)

You wouldn’t think a player with 30 goals and assists would be considered a gamble, however, despite his form, and the fact he has a DGW, Man City take on Spurs and Man United this week in two huge games that will definitely have a say on the title race, as Liverpool have relatively simple games left to play this season. He scored twice against Tottenham in the cup, cruelly denied a hat trick by VAR, but it’s not necessarily guaranteed that he’ll start both games, and with them being difficult games, captaining Sterling might be too much of a gamble, especially considering the fact that there are much better options available.
