Gameweek 11 Differentials – Fantasy Football Tips

This article will look at 5 players selected by under 5% of managers that could be strong differentials for gameweek 11 for a one week punt or beyond to push managers up the overall rankings.

Cancelo (£5.3m) & Benjamin Mendy (£5.9m) – Manchester City – 1.4% & 1.3% TSB

In gameweek 11 Manchester City host a weak looking Southampton side who conceded 9 to Leicester in gameweek 10. Cancelo and Mendy have been given a rest midweek in their cup match and so look likely to make it back into the starting lineup again in gameweek 11. The pair have a strong chance of keeping a clean sheet with Southampton scoring on 9 goals so far this season from 10 games. As well as this there is a strong chance of attacking returns with Mendy picking up an assist in gameweek 10 which was then overruled…

Anthony Martial (£7.6m) – Manchester United – 4.6% TSB

Gameweek 11 see’s Manchester United travel to face a Bournemouth side who have been mixed both offensively and defensively so far this season. Martial is returning from a lengthy spell on the touchline but seemed to transform the Man United side on his return. He has returned at least 5 points in every game he has started so far this season and there is no reason why that should stop. Martial could also be a great differential going forward as Man United have a prolonged period of strong fixtures.

Neal Maupay (£6.0m) – Brighton – 1.2% TSB

Brighton have looked strong so far this season and face off against Norwich who have one of the worst defensive records in the league, looking very poor both in defence and attack. He has returned in 3 out of 5 home games so far this season and there is no reason why that trend can not continue. Definitely a strong differential this week, whilst his teammates Connolly (2.8% owned) and Trossard (0.2% owned) could also be very good differentials depending on your budget and position you are looking for.

Willian (£7.0m) – Chelsea – 2.2% TSB

Despite starting all 6 of Chelsea’s most recent league games and has returned 33 points from the last 4 game weeks averaging just over 8 points per week. This week Chelsea travel to Watford who have looked better recently, but have still have one of the worst defensive records in the league. Willian is also on some direct free kicks improving his attacking output even further.

Paulo Gazzaniga (£4.4m) – Tottenham – 1.6% TSB

With Lloris now being injured Gazzaniga is the cheapest starting goalkeeper in FPL, whilst also playing for a “top 6 club”. In gameweek 10 he returned 8 points away to Liverpool despite conceding a goal due to his 12 saves and so 3 bonus points. This differential is more long term as a goalkeeper is unlikely to return a large haul every week, but Spurs have a continued good run of fixtures and could be a very cheap set and forget option.
