Gameweek 12 Differentials – Fantasy Football Tips

This article will look at 5 players selected by under 5% of Fantasy Premier League managers that could be strong differentials for gameweek 12 for a one week punt or beyond to push managers up the overall rankings.

Emerson (£5.5m) – Chelsea – 0.8% TSB

In gameweek 12 Chelsea host Crystal Palace who have failed to score in 5/11 of the gameweeks so far. As well as this, Emerson has strong attacking potential with high assist potential as he bombs down the left hand side of Chelsea. Chelsea also have good fixtures going forward apart from gameweek 13 when they travel to Manchester City and therefore he could be strong differential going forward. He seems to be first choice under Lampard as he comes straight back into the side over Alonso after returning from injury.

Lucas Moura (£7.0m) – Tottenham – 3.6% TSB

Lucas has been rested in the Champions League fixture on Wednesday evening as starts were given again to Son and Alli. This could mean that Moura goes into the starting lineup for Spurs at the weekend. We have seen in previous seasons how deadly Moura can be when given the space especially in behind and with Sheffield’s high press in defence he could easily be given this space.

Diego Jota (£6.1m) – Wolves – 1.8% TSB

In gameweek 11 he only returned 2 points, but could easily have had double digits with a cracking performance! A lot of managers are opting for his team mate Jimenez priced at £7.4m, but Jota offers another certain route into the Wolves lineup and at a much less risky price point. Last season Jota was a fan favourite and this has caused his price to drop since the start of the season due to his injury. If he could find his form again he will rocket up in price especially with Wolves’ favourable run of fixtures.

Gerard Deulofeu (£6.1m) – Watford – 1.8% TSB

Deulefeu has had an xGA of over 4, but has only returned 1 goal and 1 assist showing he has the potential to have returned more than he has. This is also skewed by Watford’s poor start to the season, but with their recent improved form and favourable run of fixtures, Deulefeu could be a strong differential especially for those looking for a replacement for a potentially injured Mason Mount.

Alex Iwobi (£5.8m) – Everton – 1.4% TSB

A switch in formation for Everton in gameweek 11 saw Iwobi pushed up onto the wing and so improve his average position. He has largely under performed his xG and xA so far this season and is very favourably priced. Everton then go on to face Norwich at home in gameweek 13 after the International Break and so he could provide a very strong and cheap differential for the next two gameweek’s.
