Gameweek 20 Differentials – Fantasy Football Tips

This article will look at 5 players selected by user 5% of managers that could be strong differentials for gameweek 20 for a one week punt or beyond to push managers up the overall rankings.

Nicolas Otamendi (£5.0m) – Manchester City – 2.7% TSB

Manchester City may not be in the best of form of late, however they are still third in the league and some of their players are flying under the radar. One of these players is Otamendi and with City hosting Sheffield United this week there is every chance of a clean sheet as they will want to prove a point after a defeat to Wolves midweek. Even more impressive, Otamendi has managed 2 goals and an assist in 994 minutes of football, showing his potential to also find the back of the net!

Paul Pogba (£8.4m) – Manchester United – 4.1% TSB

Since coming back from injury, Pogba has made 2 appearances off the bench, looking really attacking and powerful in both appearances. This week it is expected that Pogba will start the game against Burnley and if he manages to bring a big fantasy haul, we will see his ownership shoot past the 5.0% marker! In the 5 games prior to his injury he managed to provide 2 assists, but no goals. That said, Burnley haven’t beaten Manchester United in any of their last 9 Premier League outings, so this could provide good omens for those gambling on Pogba.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.3m) – Everton – 2.6% TSB

Everton have been in good form of late, being unbeaten in their last 4, with3 of these games being against Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United. Although Sigurdsson hasn’t had an attacking return since gameweek 9, he certainly has shown his potential in previous Premier League seasons and with the form Everton are carrying he certainly has the opportunity to score big as they travel to Newcastle this gameweek.

Callum Wilson (£7.4m) – Bournemouth – 4.8% TSB

Wilson has struggled to find the back of the net recently, not scoring since gameweek 7, however prior to this he had scored 5 in 4 gamweeks. The Cherries travel to Brighton this week, kicking off a great run of fixtures for Bournemouth as they play no team in the top half until gameweek 26, which is a trip to Sheffield United! This run of fixtures provides great potential for those taking a punt on Wilson to find some form.

Neal Maupay (£5.8m) – Brighton – 2.1% TSB

Facing Callum Wilson’s side this gameweek is Brighton and at just £5.8m, Neal Maupay could be a very nice cheap differential. In his last 4 starts, Maupay managed to score 3 goals and whilst they host Brighton this gameweek, he will be hoping to continue this good form. Although he did not start the last game against Spurs, it is likely he will start this coming game with a limited amount of time between the fixtures.
